因为早期版本游戏已经有一个不错的框架,所以我们决定把后续的内容放在勾引玩家继续探索其他内容上。
首先我们把士兵线作为基本的数值,所以其他的单位都是士兵单位的变体,士兵作为整个游戏的基本计量单位。
但是其实真正设计的时候,事情并没有按照预测的路径走,因为我们的第二个单位是忍者;忍者可以发动多次攻击,但是伤害较弱。
所以士兵在这个游戏里就显得比较弱,但是因为早期测试发现忍者实在太强,怪物有进行了一次血量的提升,所以我们只能提出新的概念,我们应该士兵的攻击力拉到忍者一样的水平。
所以我们可以看到,肉色的人类组里,增加了老兵的概念,当人类组达到上限时,可以把自己的士兵转换成老兵,这样单体攻击贫弱的士兵组就能与其他的组的强度进行平衡。
在这个基础上,我们增加了士兵的变体,龙蛋,一种收益期超长,但是回报力是人类几倍的人类组变体。增加了勇者组,一个站位要求比人类组更加苛刻的勇者任务系统。还有城主这种成长期较短,但是可以辅助其他组的类型,等等。
Design Ideas
Since the early versions of the game already had a decent framework, we decided to focus the follow-up on hooking the player into continuing to explore the rest of the content.
First, we used the soldier line as the basic value, so all other units are variants of the soldier unit, and the soldier serves as the basic unit of measure for the entire game.
But, regarding the real design, things didn't follow the predicted path, because our second unit was the ninja; a ninja can launch multiple attacks, but does weak damage.
So the soldier is weaker in this game, but since early testing revealed that the ninja is just too strong and the monster had a blood boost, we had to develop a new concept, we soldier's attack power pull to the same level as the ninja.
So we can see that in the flesh-colored human group, the concept of veterans has been added, when the human group reaches the upper limit, you can convert your soldiers into veterans, so that the single attack-poor soldier group can be balanced with the strength of the rest of the group.
To this, we added the Soldier variant, the Dragon Egg, a variant of the Human group with a super long payoff period, but with a payoff power several times that of Humans. We added the Grit group, a Grit quest system with more demanding station requirements than the Human group. There's also the City Lord, which has a shorter growth period but can assist other groups, and so on.
